Keep the original currency attached to every expense. Use the selected display currency to review combined totals rather than adding unlike currencies yourself. An unknown bill amount, a missing exchange rate and a confirmed zero mean different things. Missing conversion can make a subtotal unavailable; stale cached rates can retain a converted value with a warning. Review the source amounts instead of treating either case as zero spending.

Keep original currencies and choose a display currency. Missing or stale exchange rates are disclosed rather than presented as complete, current totals.
How do estimated bills differ from recorded payments?
An estimate is a planned cost, not a payment. You can enter an amount, calculate usage manually, or use a forecast based on up to three recent confirmed periods. Confirm the provider’s actual total for that period, then record partial or full payments separately.

Understand scheduled costs, remaining bill balances, and recorded payments separately. Estimates are not presented as money you have already paid.
Does Subdue pay bills or connect to my bank?
No. Subdue is a tracker, not a payment service. You enter bill details and record payments yourself. Recording a payment does not transfer money, and a cancellation decision in Subdue does not cancel the provider’s service.
What is free, and what requires Premium?
Core subscriptions and bills, usage calculations, bill payment history, trial reminders, widgets, personal iCloud sync, and 30-day views are free. Premium adds longer views, bill due-date and renewal reminders, cancellation reminders, Private Services, subscription history, and the Impact Simulator.
